Kristen Rothe is an Associate at the firm and handles a variety of matters. Ms. Rothe understands the importance of fulfilling client's needs and handles each matter thoroughly with care and diligence.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rothe served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable David J. Weaver, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris/Sussex Vicinage, Civil Division. As a judicial law clerk, Ms. Rothe drafted judicial opinions every motion cycle on a variety of complex legal issues while also performing various legal research assignments. During her clerkship, Ms. Rothe served as a certified mediator and successfully resolved multiple small claims, special civil part, and landlord tenant matters. Ms. Rothe will be utilizing the litigation and mediation skills gained in her clerkship in her work at Lavery, Selvaggi, Abromitis, & Cohen to satisfy needs and provide services to clients.
Ms. Rothe obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from Seton Hall University. Ms. Rothe is graduate of Rutgers Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review and as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing and Bankruptcy courses. While attending law school, Ms. Rothe also worked for various local law firms, the New York Jets organization, and BSE Global, the parent company of the Brooklyn Nets organization.
When she is not working, Ms. Rothe enjoys sports, specifically tennis, and watching Broadway plays and musicals.
