Lavery, Selvaggi, Abromitis & Cohen is proud to announce that one of its founding shareholders, Michael B. Lavery, has been elected to serve as the Chairman for the Republican Party in New Jersey.  His selection follows the recommendation given by Kim Guadagno, the Republican nominee for Governor.

As chair of the State's Republican Party, Lavery will be tasked with overseeing the messaging, organizing and fundraising for the party.  He will also be working closely with Guadagno and her staff as they campaign throughout the State in advance of November's gubernatorial election.

“This is a tremendous honor and I am humbled by Kim Guadagno's confidence in me,” said Lavery. “I look forward to assisting her and all Republican candidates throughout New Jersey with their upcoming elections this fall,” he added.

Besides serving as Chairman for the State's Republican Party, Mr. Lavery is also the current Chairman of the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the bridges crossing the Delaware River between New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  He was formerly Mayor of Hackettstown and a past Republican State Committeeman for Warren County.
