Joel A. Kobert is recognized as one of the most esteemed lawyers in New Jersey. Indeed, he has been named as a Super Lawyer in New Jersey Super Lawyer in the field of Land Use/Zoning. His other principal area of practice involves commercial and residential real estate development.
Mr. Kobert has a long history of service to the New Jersey State Bar Association, having been its President and the President of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Lawyer. He also served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, obtaining the rank of Captain in the United States Army and being awarded the Bronze Star. He worked in the administration for two Governors of New Jersey and was appointed to numerous Supreme Court committees. Mr. Kobert is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a member of Who's Who in American Law, a Trustee for Blair Academy and the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Norwich University.
