The former Ingersoll-Rand site in Phillipsburg, New Jersey has been designated by the Town as an area in need of redevelopment. The site was purchased by a developer and is now being redeveloped. Recently, the project was designated as the largest industrial project site in the United States. https://www.nj.com/warren/2019/04/its-ranked-as-the-nations-biggest-industrial-project-this-year-and-its-happening-in-the-lehigh-valley.html. When it is complete, the site will contain approximately four million square feet of warehouse space and will produce significant tax revenues and jobs for the Town.
Richard Wenner, a partner of the firm, has represented the Town of Phillipsburg throughout the redevelopment process, and the sale of the property to a Chicago-based developer. This project is one of many redevelopment projects involving lawyers from our Firm. Lavery, Selvaggi, Abromitis & Cohen, P.C. has successfully represented municipalities and developers in redevelopment projects throughout New Jersey.
